Vedhant is the founder of the design and research collective Rebel Base who’s focus areas are in socio-spatial research, infrastructural development and interdisciplinary design solutions. The collective’s work experiments with a wide spectrum of design and creative thinking, from urban design to bespoke object making of all scales.

Vedhant completed his M.Arch Prof at the University of the Witswatersrand. His thesis won the Corobrik South African Architecture Student of the Year for 2015 and received 4th place in the International LafargeHolcim student competition at the 2016 sustainability symposium. Vedhant’s main interests lie in finding innovative spatial solutions that respond to the socio-eceonomic conditions and ecological sustainability of majority world.
