Mark Schaerer is the principal of SRS Architects. He graduated with a BArch and Master’s in Urban Design from the University of Witwatersrand. Mark is a part time lecturer at Wits and runs his small practice from Brixton. His work is varied and involves collaborations in many sectors. His architectural work focuses on the educational sector, undertaking work at various Universities and schools across the country. Mark has worked as a Competition Administrator, been involved in multiple public space activations and co-organiser of Open streets events and the Brixton light Festival.
