Dr Judith Ojo-Aromokudu
Judith Ojo-Aromokudu is a Professional Architect and Housing specialist. She holds a PhD in Architecture and also masters degree in Housing. Her professional practice has been with a keen interest in community-based projects. She joined the University of KwaZulu Natal as a full time academic in 2011. She served as a member of the 5th SACAP Council on the Continued Professional Development (CPD) committee, and for a short term in 2021/22, with the Canberra Accord on Architectural Education hosted by the South African Council for Architectural Profession. She has been on various SACAP Architectural Education validation panels. She is a member of the Gauteng Institute for Architects (GIfA), where she serves on the education committee. She is currently a senior lecturer at the Architecture Discipline School of Built Environment and Development Studies, University of KwaZulu-Natal. Judith’s research interest is in sustainable human settlements and dwelling spaces. She has supervised numerous honors and master thesis in Planning, Housing and Architecture.
