Asher Marcus is the founder and lead architect of Hubo Studio. Hubo is an award-winning architecture firm specialised in educational and kid centric spaces that create environments that inspire and nurture young minds, fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Hubo Studio’s architectural pursuits are broad, encompassing everything from dynamic new builds to ambitious renovation projects that breathe new life into existing spaces. Their sphere of operation extends beyond local boundaries, embracing opportunities on both domestic and international platforms.

Hubo has completed thousands of square meters of successful communal and education spaces creating next level libraries, art and drama centres, early learning centres, technology hubs and high performance sport and recreation centres.

In 2022, Asher attended the Reggio Emilia International Study Group, which had a profound and lasting impact on his educational philosophy.

The Reggio Emilia philosophy, prioritizing children as active contributors with their own perspectives and voices, has become a fundamental guide on the design of the space through the use of space as the third teacher.

Process plays a pivotal role at Hubo. There is no preconceived idea about the end result.
